Merlin Griffiths’ Dark Martini
Awards judge and cocktail guru Merlin Griffiths shares his recipe for a Dark Martini using Barti Rum, which boasts a Gold award from the Great British Food Awards

Serves 1
Ingredients
40ml Barti Spiced Rum
20ml Coffee liqueur
40ml fresh espresso
5ml Tia Maria (optional)
Ground nutmeg to garnish
Method
Add all the ingredients to a shaker with lots of ice and shake very well. Strain immediately into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
