At Cookery School we aim to take people back to honest, homely, delicious cooking. There is nothing cheffy or fancy about our food – we simply love sharing our ideas for delicious home-made food, using common utensils that can be found in most home kitchens. Our focus is on demystifying cooking, removing jargon and bringing back solid cooking skills.
Join our expert team to learn more about ingredients, cooking, healthy eating and much more. Every class has a high teacher-to-student ratio, plenty of hands-on work and offers the chance to ask as many questions as you like. Best of all, you’ll get to enjoy all your hard work with a sit-down feast of your dishes or goodies to take home (depending on the class). The intimate nature of Cookery School means you can learn about principles and skills, put them to the test and leave feeling empowered and ready to recreate your dishes at home.
As London’s most sustainable cooking school, we use the finest organic ingredients in every one of our classes and courses, including produce from our rooftop allotment on Regent Street. All of our decisions are made with people and the planet in mind!
With a focus on one-day classes the school offers learning on various global cuisines as well as classes that hone specific skills, such as Sauces, where you learn to master a classic range of sauces and leave with a good understanding of the principles, to put into practice.
Cookery School’s curriculum offers both daytime and evening sessions; ranging from topical classes of just a few hours’ duration to an intensive, six week-long professional Cook’s Certificate course.
